1950s Woven Polished Cotton "Dovima" Style Hourglass Cocktail Dress with Huge Bow

Original 1950s inky black woven embroidered polished cotton hourglass cocktail dress with huge 3D bow on the front abdomen! Back metal zipper with hook and eye, hips are lined in cotton voile. Wide scooped neckline with subtle 3/4 length dolman sleeves, tailored fitted bodice, nipped defined wasp waist, and slim tapered pencil skirt. The bow is 2 layers, really fantastic. The embroidered pattern on the polished cotton looks a bit like diamonds. This piece reminds me of something you would have seen the 1950s supermodel Dovima wearing- it’s incredibly classic, sleek, and undeniably chic. Timeless and forever in style.
