1930s Bias Cut Silk Chiffon Balloon Sleeve Gown with Matching Slip
I absolutely love 1930s fashion. It’s so sexy and romantic, while remaining extremely elegant.
What we have here is an amazing 2 piece 1930s ensemble: bias cut over-dress in rich crimson red silk chiffon with royal blue and buttercream plaid, and matching baby pink bias cut satin slip with open back and ruffled hem! Wear it with the slip, or not! Some lingerie is so gorgeous, it’s meant to be shown off. This 1930s silk bias cut gown does that beautifully. Slip included as well, of course. I love the huge puffed balloon sleeves and the detailed shelf bust. Peekaboo keyhole back with snap at the back neck. Beautifully gored flared mermaid hem. Truly, this set is a gorgeous example of 1930s evening wear.
