Fit Guide
At Butch Wax Vintage, we want to provide you with the most proper fit for your potential purchase. Here are some helpful ways on how to know what size you are regarding vintage clothing.
We suggest always measuring yourself and your garments with a soft measuring tape. A handy tip is to measure something in your closet with the same or a similar silhouette of the garment that you're interested in. And as always, if you have any questions, just ask! We're happy to help.
HOW WE MEASURE GARMENTS
Shoulders - seam to seam
Bust - measured from pit to pit with garment laid flat, then doubled
Waist - measured at smallest point of waist with garment laid flat, then doubled
Hips - measured 9" below natural waist with garment laid flat, then doubled
Sleeve Length - top of shoulder seam to sleeve hem (or from underarm seam to sleeve hem, when specified)
