1950s "Ann Kelly of California" Polished Cotton 2 Piece Dress Set with Cherubs Novelty Hand Print

From the estate of a model in the 1950s, such a perfectly 1950s ensemble!

The more I look at this piece, the more French it looks! Oui oui! Original 1950s cornflower blue and crimson red crisp polished cotton 2 piece ensemble by “Ann Kelly of California - Los Angeles!” Blouse and extremely full skirt. The blouse features a lovely large winged collar that can be worn up or down, 3/4 length sleeves with large winged turned-up cuffs to match the collar. The blouse buttons up with white pearly lucite buttons and has matching buttons on the cuffs. The skirt has a side metal zipper with white pearly lucite button at the waist. Intricately pleated all around the waistband, opening onto the extremely full skirt. The skirt features hand printed textile panels of cherubs with flowers and scroll. So romantic, very appropriate for Valentine’s Day!
