1950s Matte Satin Dramatic Trapeze Coat Trimmed in Ostrich Feathers

So timelessly chic, this piece reminds me of Breakfast at Tiffany’s era cocktail parties!

Original late 1950s inky black smooth silky matte satin extreme trapeze cut swing coat! Custom made with a tag inside that reads, “Fashioned by Walby Original.” Fully lined in satin as well. Hidden black frog closure at the upper chest. Wide cut glove length sleeves, darted shoulders, extremely structured darted shawl collar that’s covered in sewn-on fluffy black ostrich feathers! These feathers continue on either side down the entire front. Ostrich feathers are my absolute favorite, they have such a great movement when you move and the wind hits them. The way this piece is made, it reminds me so much of 1950s Balenciaga, definitely inspired by that.
