1950s “MUGUET” Lily of the Valley Dior Inspired Replica Party DressYes, we all know what this dress looks like. The famous lily-of-the-valley ‘Muguet’ dress by Christian Dior circa early 1950s. This is NOT the Dior, let’s make that quite clear. It is however, a very closely inspired piece that was also expertly made in the 1950s.

All of the seams on the inside are hand detailed and stitched. Back metal zipper with hook and eye closure. This construction on this piece is extremely well done, a very skilled seamstress made this, no doubt. The embroideries are done by machine, not by hand. The dress is hand embellished throughout with sparkling crystal rhinestones and glass seed beads. The inside of the straps at your shoulders have sewn in snaps to hold your bra straps in place. Beautifully fitted multi princess seamed bodice, nipped defined slightly dropped waist, and extremely full skirt with gorgeous pleating in the middle of the back.

In my opinion, this piece presents just as beautifully as the original. She is not perfect, but she is oh so special.

Condition: As-is. Missing some of the glass seed beads, missing some of the rhinestones, some of the rhinestones have changed color. Some of the embroideries are slightly frayed. The skirt has light staining throughout. These pictures have not been altered, so what you are seeing is how it looks in real life. In my opinion, it is still very wearable and undeniably gorgeous.
