Considered by many a crown jewel in any vintage collection, this piece is extremely rare. Original document in 1973 designer Jean Varon spiderweb gown. Made out of an inky black heavier jersey. The panel in the back is a black mesh with intricate spiderweb embroideries, hand embellished sequins, and delicate spiders made out of glass beads. Closes up the front with faceted jet buttons, matching buttons at the wrists. Hidden metal zipper from the waist down, attached tie belt. Large winged collar, huge billowing lantern sleeves, fitted bodice, nipped defined wasp waist, and huuuuge sweeping floor length skirt. The epitome of dark romance. An extremely special piece for the spiderweb lover.
