From the Dior couture spring / summer collection of 1963, I present to you an extremely special piece for the discerning vintage collector. Inky black silk peau de soie, fully lined in silk organza. Hidden side zipper with hook and eye closure. All of the seams are hand finished, hand sewn-in weights in the bottom hem of the skirt. Beautiful pleating at the neckline, back bow detail that snaps with hidden snaps, sexy back cut in shoulders design, nipped defined waist that dips down slightly in the back, and full skirt with pleating all around the top. The front of the skirt has hidden hip pockets inside the pleating, absolutely genius. Quite possibly the most perfect little black dress by one of the fashions most prestigious houses.
