An absolutely phenomenal and so vibrant 1940s cold rayon Hawaiian pake muu by “Kahana Manufacturing Co.” featuring the famous Eugene Savage islander paintings. Made and style in Honolulu, Hawaii. Pulls on. Golden yellow satin lining to the split butterfly sleeves, on the frog closures of the collar, and on the side slits of the skirt. Hourglass tailored silhouette. So rich and vibrant. So quintessential 1940s Hawaiian, so many colors in this piece, perfect for wearing all of your bakelite bangles.

Excellent condition, side panels of the same fabric have been added to make this piece fit a larger size, not noticeable when on at all. Size small to medium. Accommodates a 34/36” bust, a waist up to 30”, hips up to 41”, and 56” total length.
