1940s Pure Silk Crepe Hawaiian Pake Muu w/ Japanese Swallows by “The Liberty House”

I looooove this one. 🩵 Absolutely stunning silk crepe 1940s Hawaiian hourglass pake muu by “The Liberty House - Honolulu, Hawaii” featuring swooping Japanese swallows! The colors and fit on this one are just 🤩. Side metal zipper. Mandarin collar with traditional frog closures in rich deep periwinkle, the split butterfly sleeves are also lined in the same periwinkle colored silk, as well as the slits on the bottom hem. The colors on this piece are extremely vibrant in person, a background of almost a neon lemon yellow with white mist, tropical foliage in electric cobalt blue with various shades of blue leading to aqua, and of course the detailed swooping Japanese swallows. This is a treasure. A must for the 1940s Hawaiiana collector.

Excellent condition, size small to medium, accommodating a 34/35” bust, a 28” waist, 40” hips, and 50.5” total length.
