1940s Woven Knit Pinup Bathing Suit w/ Keyhole Cutout

One of the dreamiest I’ve ever seen, original 1940s perfect blush pink nubby textured knit pinup bathing suit with cut out midsection and lace up back! Fully lined in textured cotton, a golden medal zipper up the back rear. Adjustable straps that crisscross and tie in the back. Extremely well-made, the details on this piece are gorgeous. Ruched bust on each side and down the middle with a decorative tie bow detail, that glamorous cut out midsection, princess seamed down the entire front with ruched front panel. And yes, you can actually wear this piece in the water, it was meant originally as a true bathing suit. I took these photos yesterday evening, so my natural light was dim, but I actually think it shows off the true beauty of this piece, the color is so lovely and so 1940s feminine pinup.

Pristine condition, size small to medium, does have stretch. Accommodates an open adjustable bust, a 24-30” waist, 32-40” hips.
