Original 1950s inky black rayon crepe hourglass statuesque illusion evening gown with sheer mesh upper bodice. Made by “Elissa of California.” It literally gives the appearance that you are wearing a strapless dress with a very low back. So sexy, so beautifully constructed to fit the body like a glove. The black rayon part of the gown is fully lined in satin, the mesh upper bodice is double lined in the sheer mesh. Hidden back metal zipper with hook and eye closure behind the neck. The bottom back hem of the dress has sewn in weights, so it hangs perfectly. This piece is so timelessly classic and elegant. So statuesque.

Mint condition, size larger medium, accommodating a 36/38” bust, a 30/31” waist, up to 42” hips, and 59” total length.
