This timelessly elegant piece reminds me so much of Audrey Hepburn and 1950s Givenchy designs... but guess what? It’s by the 1980s king of all things fabulous, “Victor Costa” for “Bergdorf Goodman on The Plaza - New York!” Original 1980s designer inky black silky taffeta structured strapless party dress with 3D moldable winged bust detailed with shocking fuchsia rosettes and black satin draped bow! This piece can be made larger in the bust, DM me to inquire. Fully lined in satin in the bodice with structural boning. The deep v plunging bust has metal built-in lining in the front, so you can mold the pointed deep v however your heart desires. The skirt is lined in sheer organza and has a built-in semi-stiff soft felt black crinoline with ruffled tulle hem. The crinoline hooks with a hook and eye at your true waist under the back talon zipper. The midsection and wasp waist are gored into 24(!!) panels that open up onto the extremely full skirt. Truly, this beauty is tailored to absolute perfection, extremely well made. Would make a gorgeous alternative bridal piece.
