Custom Couture 1950s Silk Chiffon Planets Celestial Novelty Print Cocktail Dress

One of the craziest dresses in my personal collection. This 1950s silk chiffon with sparkling multicolored metallic lurex threads planetary novelty print custom made cocktail dress. I mean- WHUT? This fabric alone! I know what you’re thinking, and yes, I agree, I am absolutely crazy for selling this. But the reality is, it’s not getting worn and somebody else needs to enjoy this extremely rare gem and actually wear it. Fully lined in inky black silk chiffon, sewn in weights to the hem of the dress. Back thin metal zipper with hook and eye closure. Inner snaps on the shoulders to hold the straps into place with your bra straps. Beautifully draped wide scooped neckline, the entire sides of the dress and ruched, as well as down the entire back of the dress with a center seam. Flat laying bows on the shoulders. Truly, this piece is made like custom couture. Hand stitching on the inside, perfectly holding the draping and ruching  into place. And this fabric! Inky black with a nebula of royal purple, violet, pink, turquoise, green, crimson red! A gorgeous outer space print featuring shooting stars, Saturn, crescent moons, and other planets. Sparkling lurex threads in metallic gold, metallic silver, metallic purple, metallic red, and metallic royal blue. It truly is just unreal.

Pristine condition, size medium, it drapes beautifully on the body so it can fit so many different measurements. Can accommodate up to a 37 inch bust, up to a 30/31 inch waist, up to 40 inch hips, and 43 inches total length.

This piece was probably the biggest crown jewel in my personal collection, it is not an easy one to let go of.
