Rare 1950s Hand Printed Mariachis & Donkey Theme Taffeta Circle Skirt

A rare jewel for the novelty skirt collector!

Original 1950s taffeta full circle skirt with darling mariachi musicians and donkey motif. The trees look like giant monsteras. I’ve never seen another piece like this. It looks hand painted, but upon inspection I think it’s hand printed. Same design on both sides. Side metal zipper with double hook and eye closure at the side waist. Ribbed satin black satin waistband. Hidden side hip pocket. Gorgeous inky black, crimson red, aqua blue, and metallic gold on the white background. This piece has been in my collection for years, time to pass her on to a new loving home!

Materials: Taffeta

Condition: Very good condition. Definitely could use a laundering, stains sporadically throughout near the hem mostly, but does not detract away from this piece. I have not tried to get them out. One part of the hem has been repaired. 

Size: Small, fits a 25 to tight 26 inch waist, free hip, and 29.75 inches total length.
