Couture 1956 Jacques Fath Design for Vogue Paris Original Patterns 1950s Liquid Sateen Wedding Gown with Back Train
Honestly, where do I begin with this one? So gorgeous it literally takes your breath away. Original 1950s glowing cream liquid sateen bridal gown. This is a Jacques Fath couture design from 1956 that was sold as a Vogue Paris Original pattern. Please see photos.
Beautifully tailored to fit like a glove. High collar that can be worn up or folded over, feminine pleated puffed shoulders and long sleeves with elbow darts and round fabric covered buttons at the wrist with fabric loopholes. Double princess seamed bodice, front and back. The entire front of the gown buttons up with round fabric covered buttons and fabric loopholes. Nipped defined wasp waist that dips down in the back into a V above your rear. The skirt is comprised of two parts- The skirt that you see in the front, which is extremely full and radiates out from that beautiful back pleating and draping on the rear. The back train juts out from underneath the back rear draping in two separate, extremely full panels. The entire skirt is backed in cream tulle: both the full main skirt and the double draped back train. A timeless bridal look that's forever stunning.

Size: Size small fitting a 34 inch bust, 26 inch waist, free hips, 59 inches total front length, 84 total inches back length with the train.
